DDA ‘Tuina Massage Course’ With Master Wang Ming Bo & Dr. Li Yong

Book either a 2-3 course, weekdays 10am – 5pm daily. Rest days Saturdays & Sundays.
Week 1:
Introduction to instructors and key elements of the course.
Introduction to general TCM tuina theories, meridian system & 12 major meridians.
Introduction to massage techniques & practice.
Introduction to the gallbladder, liver & bladder meridians & massage practice.
Introduction to joint manipulation and realignment therapy.
Acupressure point identification & practice.
Review of gallbladder, liver, bladder meridian massage.
Week 2:
Review of meridian massage teachniques.
Review of joint manipulation and realignment therapy, & introduction to simple spine realignment techniques.
Introduction of the heart, pericardium & lung meridians; functions & connected conditions.
Acupressure point identification & practice.
Massage practice of the six meridians on volunteer ‘patients’.
Review and critique of meridian massage performance.
Introduction to the small intestine, large intestine and triple burner meridians.
Week 3:
Review of the meridian massage teachniques and practice of full body meridian massage.
Review of joint manipulation and realignment therapy, & practice of simple spine, leg and arm realignment techniques.
Acupressure massage and point identification for specific maladies.
Practice & peer massage practice.
Review of course work & questions.
Exam: peer massage.
Certification award.
Course costs:
7850Rmb per week x 3 weeks = 23,550Rmb.
(For a 2-week course the fees are 8250rmb per week)
Fee includes all tuition, daily box lunch, administration, translation and certification.
