University of Shanghai for Science & Technology (USST) students voted for their favourite outstanding teachers, a prize awarded annually at the university.
This year Rose was delighted to receive the award alongside other USST teachers from all departments, with Rose honoured to be representing the School of Foreign Languages, at the ceremony to coincide with the USST’s 111-year anniversary.
Thanks to all the students who voted; as a teacher it always means a great deal when students themselves prize your teaching style and personality. It also made me a little tearful; a very sweet memento for my efforts over the years; knowing that my students valued and enjoyed my classes is one of the greatest rewards a teacher can receive!
