Rose?has been awarded an M.B.E. (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen’s?2011 New Year’s Honours List, for her work in developing and furthering Sino-British relations and for fostering inter-cultural exchange, communication and friendship.

Rose and her family will visit Buckingham Palace to be given the award by Her Majesty the Queen later in the New Year.
