On 16th November DDA were again invited by Ms. Michelle Sans of the Alliance for Global Education, a non-profit partnership of Arcadia University and Butler University’s study abroad colleges, to provide an activity to introduce aspects of Chinese culture to their latest group of American students taking part in the Alliance’s joint social and language programme with Fudan University.

The TCM lecture was again organized with Dr Li Yong’s Conjoint Health Advisory Service, hosting an interactive workshop introducing Traditional Chinese Medicine’s philosophy, treatment methodology, acupuncture, tuina massage and approach to diet ad food combining for healthy living.

?Dr. Li, a regular cooperator with DDA and partner in their joint TCM internship programme, introduced the group of students and their teachers to TCM’s approach to health, food combining and the effect of diet and nutrition on the process of an illness, plus the part diet plays in diagnostics and treatment, answered questions from the guests related to their own health concerns and ailments; as well as teaching them some commonly used massage techniques and acupressure points to relieve a variety of disorders and conditions.
