DDA were once again invited to collaborate with Fei Hong Taiji Association, from Shanghai’s Putuo District Chang Feng Park, in supporting their annual taiji culture performance celebrations and end of year festivities.
With taiji groups form the local Putuo District parks, guests from Shaolin Temple, Jin Woo Federation and many other great masters from Shanghai’s martial arts community, it was a great chance for everyone to catch up with old friends and renew bonds, as well as make new friends among the taiji community.
Among the performers were DDA’s Rose Oliver and Wang Ming Bo, together with their disciple Fan Xing Dong performing the Tai Zhu Quan form from the Tong Bei system that Rose is teaching their disciples and senior students, as well as Rose performing Xing-Yi San He Broadsword and her gongfu brother Wu Jie performing He Bei Xing-Yi, both taught by Master Yan Cheng De, disciple of Zhu Gui Ting.
DDA’s Cao Yang Park students also performed their Yang Style taiji form in the group demonstrations.?
It was a wonderful morning of taiji, culture and music, followed by a great banquet lunch, with much laughter and fun.
Thanks again to Master Zhang and Master Xi for all their hard work in putting this together and for inviting DDA to take part and offer their support.
