British Cultural Centre (BCC) Latest News & Halloween Celebrations

a

The BCC (part of the Int’l Culture Park at the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology or USST) began the 2018-2019 academic year with a new round of speakers and amazing cross-cultural events for their university students.

BCC director Rose Oliver is also excited to introduce a new venture; advisory clinics for students and staff, concentrating on aspects of stress management and life/professional skills coaching, with Ms. Ans Hooft, a qualified life coach and volunteer at Lifeline.

The BCC are excited to be offering our university students access to such caring and competent professionals, with the chance to hone skill sets and receive guidance for their professional and personal lives!

And of course, the BCC celebrated Halloween on 31October, with a fun-filled event of games, cultural exchange and costumes. There was a great turn out, and everyone got in the spirit with some great costumes, and masks, while grooving to the ‘Monster Mash Musical Statues’ beat!

Thanks to all our volunteers and special guests for their hard work, enthusiasm and of course baking!
