DDA again organized a tour of Shanghai’s ‘Tong Han Chun’ TCM pharmacy and TCM clinic situated in Yu Gardens, for members of the Shanghai Expat Association (SEA).
?The event again featured a guided tour of the store’s famous ground-floor Ginseng collection, where two years ago a ‘husband and wife’ ginseng roots were sold to a Hong Kong business executive for 1,800,000Rmb; their TCM medicine pharmacy, which includes a TCM doctors’ clinic; and the in-house TCM museum, which houses exhibits from the pharmacy’s 236-year history.
Following the tour, DDA’s Rose Oliver facilitated an interactive Tuina massage session with DDA’s Master Wang Ming Bo, teaching the international guests several Tuina massage techniques for optimizing good health, encouraging the participants to try the gallbladder massage techniques on their compatriots. ?
