The guests at the party consisted of Taiji students from DDA’s various?
weekly classes, including Si Chuan Rd, Tian Lin Rd, Kang Yuan Clinic,?
Pudong’s Rui Shan Rd and Cao Yang Park, plus special guests and regular?
DDA supporters and event partners, including Mr. Yang Yi Xiao, Victor Garza,
Dr Li Yong, Masters Yu Huan Pei and Lu Zhi Liang, Dr Lv Wei and Steven Tsao,
DDA Web Manager and Chief Technological Officer.

The party of over 80 guests first enjoyed a delicious Chinese banquet,
accompanied by German wine and Italian desserts, then sat back to enjoy?
some wonderful, impromptu and fun performances by their kung fu brothers?
and sisters and friends!Students from the beginners level Pudong class,
led by Zhou Yu Xu and Cai Yu from our Tian Lin Rd class, performed the?
first section of the form up to Single Whip, Mr. Yang Yi Xiao – Chinese
Grade One Performing Artist– delighted us with a variety of comic
impersonations, there was a foot-stomping “Gangnam Style” dance from?
Sun Min, Zhang Xiao Lan, Bian Rong Xin, Cai Yu and “young helpers”,
Chinese flute with Ms. Bian Rong Xin, an Erhu performance by Mr. Jin Fu?
Gui, Peking Opera with Ms. Li Gu Min and Chinese poetry by DDA disciple
Cai Da Hu.??

There was also a rendition of “Oh My Darling Clementine” by one of our
international students, Collin Starkweather, a multinational New Year’s
greeting in many different languages by Victor Garza and Collin, plus an
extra special “Happy Birthday” song, sung in Spanish by Victor for
Ms. Liu Qin Yun, who coincidentally was celebrating 69th birthday that
very same evening.

?Ms. Liu later performed a Taiji fan dance with several of her Cao Yang
Park colleagues and we also had a wonderful performance on the violin
by Mao Mao, Dr Lv’s twelve-year-old son. ?

?DDA’s Rose Oliver and Wang Ming Bo also presented several students with
commemorative certificates in honour of their achievements and progress
in their Taiji practice, including Ms. Jiang Zhi Ying from The Kang Yuan
Clinic class, Sun Min from our Tian Lin Rd class, Cai Yu from our Si Chuan
Rd class, Zhao Yong Fei from our Pudong class and Wang Jun Kang, Bian Rong
Xin and Zhang Ju Feng from our Cao Yang Park classes.?
DDA also presented a commemorative certificate to several of our regular
key partners and collaborators, to thank them for their continued support
and assistance over the years, including, Dr Li Yong of the Conjoint Health
Advisory Service, Mr. Yang Yi Xiao, Mr. Victor Garza, who regularly gives
talks to our members on Mayan culture and Feng Shui, Fan Xing Dong one of
DDA’s disciples and advisors, Steven Tsao, for all his help over the years
with our website, plus Master Yu Huan Pei, for his continuous and unwavering
help and support since DDA’s inception.

DDA couldn’t have achieved their goals without everyone’s support and
encouragement; we are sincerely grateful to everyone who has assisted us
over the years and we look forward to sharing further success, friendship,
