Our association has been invited to take part in an art exhibition taking place on 23rd October 2010, featuring some of the finest artists and calligraphers in and around China.
The opening ceremony and welcome banquet will commence on 23rd October and the organizer Ms Wang San Mei, a very well known and respected art promoter in Shanghai, has reserved two banquet tables especially for our association’s members and guests.
DDA have also proposed that some of our guests, who include artists, painters and performers maybe able to display or promote some of their own art works or perform at the event; to which the organizers have expressed an interest, as they would like to give the occasion more of an international flavour.
We feel that this would be a great chance for many other artists and performers (both western and Chinese) to promote and share their work and talents with a wider audience and introduce more people to the flourishing art world around us, not only here in Shanghai, but also across the globe.
Ms Wang is keen to open up the Shanghai art and culture scene to other artists from outside of the classical and traditional and welcomes Double Dragon Alliance’s guests and friends to participate in this event and hopefully give them a platform to showcase their own skills and expertise.
We would like to invite our guests to this prestigious event and also welcome their suggestions as to what may help them be more actively involved in this wonderful artistic exhibition.
