DDA’s Rose Oliver and Wang Ming Bo recently visited the newly founded “Laozi Institute”
in Pudong.

? ? ?The institute, which was founded by business leaders, educators and enthusiasts of traditional Chinese
culture, is dedicated to promoting the wisdom and philosophy of Laozi and Daoist thought, and in
providing a social networking and educational forum for adult learners and business people.

?The institute’s premises at Xiu Pu Rd, are located in a relatively quiet suburb of the Pudong
New Area, set close to some fields and overlooking a river, which help to maintain a sense of calm in
the busy city.
?
?With conference rooms and meeting halls, as well as a large banquet area and stage, the institute is
well equipped for offering a welcome to those pursuing social and business contacts.
