Newly formed Hua Yang Chinese Martial Arts Club?recently held their first summer martial arts demo and masters exhibition?at the Kai Bridge Public Gardens?near Yan An Xi Rd and Kai Xuan Rd on Tuesday morning 9th August.

The celebration of Chinese wushu was held in the public gardens, which are a regular meeting place for a host of martial arts enthusiasts and health practitioners.

The masters performing included Master Zhu Yu Cheng (grandson of Grandmaster Zhu Gui Ting) demonstrating Yang Style Taiji, Master Shou Guan Shun demonstrating Yang Style, Master Chen An Tian performing Ba Gua form and weapons, Masters Chen Xing Zuo and his twin brother Chen Xing You performing push hands and a dual sword form, Master Liu Ji Fa performing Wu Style, Ms. Rose Oliver performing Yang Style Taiji, followed by their joint performance of push hands, Master Wan Yong Nan and his students performing Yong Chun Quan and weapons forms, among others.

The entertaining morning was a great chance for everyone to get together, catch up with old friends and make new ones, plus enjoy some outstanding martial artists and traditional Chinese wushu.
