Josie Chen’s OK Deal Club held its 2 year anniversary party on Wednesday 3rd March at Mural’s Bar 697 Yong Jia Road, near Heng Shan Road Metro Station.
The club founded by Josie two years ago is a social networking club designed to offer young local Chinese and expats living and working in Shanghai a chance to meet and make friends, enjoy activities together, plus join local tours to some of the area’s scenic spots.

The club regularly organizes trips and parties, giving everyone a great chance to meet new friends from the local community and provide expats from a variety of countries, a more colourful and interesting life in Shanghai.
The anniversary party was a free event and OK Deal Club organized a variety of special guests to come and perform including two excellent singers Momo and Lu Xiang from Cindy’s Music Club, Belly Dancing, Salsa and Cha Cha dance performers, a performance on the Erhu, and songs from Sarah Xie who won a singing contest at one of OK Deal Club’s Speed Dating Parties.

OK Deal Club, who have collaborated with Double Dragon Alliance on several occasions, also invited DDA to host a Taiji demonstration by Master Wang Ming Bo. Master Wang performed a short section of Yang Style and Chen Style Taiji, plus an interactive spot teaching the guests a couple of Chin Na or joint locking techniques.
The participants then had to perform them on Master Wang, with the best performer winning a small prize.

It was a great night and the free drinks for ladies and special discounts on drinks for gentlemen at Mural’s Bar obviously helped the guests enjoy a wonderful evening.
