DDA’s Rose Oliver was presented with a congratulatory award by her university for her contribution and achievements in the 2013-2014 academic year including the Magnolia Award from Shanghai City’s Government.??
The awards ceremony was held at Shanghai University’s Baoshan Campus on Teacher’s Day (10th September)?to celebrate the work of teachers and staff at the university and as recognition for the many faculty members’ hard work, research endeavours and devotion to their students.
The ceremony was attended by the new President of SHU, Professor Luo Hong Jie?and Vice President Wang Min, along with other university faculty leaders, teachers and students.
It was a great way for the university to express its thanks to the staff and teachers, which are its ‘ground troops’ and for everyone to meet up with other members of the university.
Rose also had a chance to thank SHU for all its support over the years and for affording her so many great opportunities.
