Rose was invited to give a lecture for the Shanghai University Press in-house magazine’s: “310 Shanghai Society & Culture Talks Series”;
a cultural exchange lecture series for international students at Shanghai University, which invites leaders from society, business and education in Shanghai to introduce aspects of their lives and work.
The lecture, the 17th in the series, covered Rose’s life in Shanghai, founding DDA, immersing herself in a foreign culture and becoming a “New Shanghainese”. Some of the stories from the lecture will also be forming parts of Rose’s new book about life in a foreign land that she hopes to publish in 2020!
