Master Wang Ming Bo and Rose Oliver recently visited the “Bo Xu Cultural Museum Centre” in Baoshan, a new centre affiliated to the”China Calligraphy, Painting & Art Institute Research Centre”.

The museum and art centre houses some priceless ancient Chinese antiques, paintings, porcelains and jewellery, many of which date back several thousands of years.

They were taken on a tour of the facility, which is situated in newly refurbished old buildings, situated close to the old Shanghai Eighth Mian Fang Zi Market Fair.

The beautiful porcelains, vases, ceramics and china were perfectly complemented by the exquisite traditional Chinese paintings, calligraphy and jewellery.

The tour ended with some delicious Chinese teas in one of the member’s restaurant/teahouse, which houses a fascinating collection of keys, which are used to decorate the ceilings and walls in a variety of patterns and images, making for a truly unique and beautiful outlook, perfectly complimenting the traditional cultural feel.
