The wonderful Betty Barr Wang (and husband George Wang) at the launch of Betty’s new book, “Ruth’s Record”, reminiscences from her mother’s wartime diaries, published by George Earnshaw Publications.
Betty is a legend in Shanghai among the expat community, born in Shanghai, incarcerated during the Second World War in the Concentration camps in Shanghai’s Hongkou District, and co-author of several books with her husband George, about their lives in Shanghai; such an inspiring woman and a great lady!
