The “11th Shanghai Education Expo 2014”, and the “Shanghai Summit Forum on Globalized Education 2014” was recently held in Shanghai City centre’s Exhibition Centre on Yan An Rd.
Elementary schools, middle schools and university’s from the whole of Shanghai took part to display their campuses and curriculums for prospective students and advertise the scale of educational opportunities available in the city.
Also on display were the 10 award-winning “outstanding” teachers in Shanghai, including DDA’s Rose Oliver!
(The award winners were also nominated to take part in China’s national “Teacher & Schools” awards at the end of April in Beijing, where Rose has also won the “Favourite Foreign Teacher Award”.)
The Shanghai Education Expo featured a dazzling display of science, language, literature, fashion and arts studies that students can expect by enrolling in the array of educational institutions in Shanghai.
Shanghai University exhibited their renowned art and fashion college’s achievements with a wonderful mini fashion show applauded by enthusiastic international students from Madagascar!
It was a wonderful exhibition, Rose had the chance to try out Korean national costumes and learn some Korean language and try out some Tuina practice at the stall of the TCM University of Shanghai and there was a wonderfully, friendly atmosphere among all the participants and schools.
