DDA were honoured to be invited to represent Shanghai Wushu and Taiji at the 2018 Shanghai Municipality Wushu Festival held in Zhu Jia Jiao in June.
The annual festival invites martial arts clubs and organizations from around Shanghai to take part, with each small team of representatives performing on small boats on the canals in the ancient water town. The event, which will be broadcast on SMG Shanghai Media Group’s channel, featured spectacular lights and night scenes along the canals, and was a great way to celebrate traditional Chinese martial arts, or Wushu! DDA’s Master Wang Ming Bo and one of DDA’s disciples Xia Yu Ting and her 13-year old son Jerry, (another DDA student) represented DDA; we’re already excited to take part in next year’s event! Thanks again to Apple Wu from SMG for the invitation; a wonderful event with a most spectacular backdrop in Zhu Jia Jiao!
