Rose Oliver and Double Dragon Alliance were invited to take part in the 21st Shanghai Magnolia Stage Performance Awards, as part of a stage performance to celebrate winners of the coveted award.

Performing alongside Ms. Li Pei Hong and Mr. Li Jun, famous Chinese Operatic performers; Rose, Wang Ming Bo and three of his Taiji students performed the first section of the Yang Style form, accompanied by DDA members Colleen Wackrow, Victor Gaza, Artur de Loza and Danielle Merlac from the international community.

The special evening for the winners of the stage awards magnolia prize, also included many who were veteran performers of many year’s standing and for some was the pinnacle of their careers; receiving recognition for their work in front of an audience of their peers and other famous performers from the industry, as well as officials and leaders from Beijing; the award being akin to the Oscars ceremony in the film industry.

It was a great privilege to be invited to perform at such a prestigious occasion and many thanks to the show’s executive producer at SMG, Mr. Zhang Wen Long for giving us this opportunity.
