Beijing Review Interview

Rose was a keynote speaker for the conference, with her speech being filmed by the ‘Beijing Review’, a popular e-publication in China based out of Beijing. The Beijing Review team also spent several days with Rose, interviewing her and filming aspects of her life and work in Shanghai, as background to the conference!

Positive Note

Rose’s theme for her speech was the importance of cross-cultural communication and improving both dialogue and listening, as means to improve international relations, setting a positive note as the last speaker of the conference.

Keynote Speech

“In her keynote speech, Rose believed that lasting friendship, understanding and cooperation across cultures and countries can connect us, promote the realization of peace among countries and peoples, and build a consensus to face future challenges together.”

Looking Forward

“Civilization transcends the scope of human beings, and we can even draw inspiration from the way other life on earth gets along with nature.

All mankind should regard mutual understanding, care and appreciation as a common goal and responsibility, and promote the construction of a true global integration.”
