DDA are currently organizing a series of lectures on Natural Healing methods, with several overseas experts.
??
On 23rd May, the first lecture was given by Ms. Ruby T. Ong, owner and founder of the “Reflections Resource Centre” in Hong Kong, introducing some of her self-empowering and awareness techniques.
Ruby, who is originally from the Philippines, has been living in Hong Kong for the last 26 years and is a regular collaborator with Ms. Claudia Sun-Gerber, a Cranio-Sacral therapist from Switzerland and who now lives in Shanghai organizing Natural Healing workshops.
??
This Spring, Ruby has been in Beijing and recently in Shanghai, conducting workshops and talks on a variety of Natural Healing methods. And at the talk for DDA on 23rd May, Ruby introduced the philosophy behind colour therapy and how we can use colours, both in nature and our environment, clothing and homes, to enhance our health and well-being and uplift our spirits, which are often stressed by the fast pace of modern life.
She also discussed ways we can listen to and understand our bodies better, learning how to detect hidden or unresolved issues which can lay dormant in our physical or spiritual selves, which may affect us emotionally and physically, possibly leading to disease or ill-health in the future.
??
?At the end of the highly enjoyable talk, Ruby also led the mixed audience of international and local guests on a guided meditation, explaining how to use light as a way to boost and stimulate our body’s chakras or energy points, in order to improve energy circulation and overall good health.
??
?The fun and informal workshop was immensely enjoyable, as well as very informative, being very well-received by the guests, who immediately planned to add some additional colours to their wardrobes!
Thank you to Ruby for her fascinating talk and to Claudia for helping coordinate the event.?
??
We look forward to the next lecture in the series on 4th June 7:30pm – 9pm, when Dr. Teoh will give a talk on hypnosis and its general effects, treatment methods and philosophy, and on how hypnotherapy can be used to treat a variety of issues and conditions.

Venue: Conjoint Health Advisory Centre, 20th Floor No.15 Jin Yang Tower, Lane 362 Cao Yang Rd, Pu Tuo District, Shanghai.? (5 minutes walk from metro station Cao Yang Rd, lines 3/4/11.)
