DDA’s Rose Oliver and Master Wang Ming Bo recently attended the Laozi Academy’s annual general meeting & Christmas party for 2015.
Rose, who is an honorary member of the Laozi Academy, and Master Wang were special guests at the party, and alongside other guests enjoyed the fabulous demonstrations and performances by other guests including Peking Opera, traditional Chinese music, introductions to Laozi’s teachings via rap!, traditional Chinese culture, singing and jokes.?
The Xmas party was tremendous fun, and a great chance for everyone to exchange contacts, meet?new friends and catch up with old colleagues from the group.
The Laozi Academy recently also co-sponsored DDA’s 10-year anniversary party, (DDA regularly cooperates with the organization on teaching taiji to members), so it was also a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude to the organization for their help and support.
Mr. Wang Gan Cheng, one of the founding members also launched his new book on Laozi’s teaching, interpreting the ancient sage’s wisdom for modern audiences.
Gan Cheng also contributed a foreword to DDA’s own new book written by Rose Oliver and Master Wang Ming Bo, celebrating theories of Yang Style Taiji, plus the experiences and schoolings of their teacher Grandmaster Dong Bin.?
