DDA’s Rose Oliver visited martial arts Lan Shou master and her former teacher Grandmaster Qin Zhong Bao, who’s now 93.
When Rose and her late husband Rey Nelson arrived in Shanghai in 2000, they began training Cao Quan with Grandmaster Ye Xiao Long and Grandmaster Qin, who still visits People’s Park on a monthly basis to watch his students practice Cao Quan from the Lan Shou system.
It was lovely to see Grandmaster Qin and catch up with him and some of Rose’s old Gongfu brothers at his home.
DDA wishes Grandmaster Qin continued good health, happiness and longevity!
