On 10th May, Double Dragon Alliance in cooperation with The Drishti Vinyasa Yoga Shala Yoga Centre?in Shanghai,
organized a “vintage” clothes rummage swap: a fun, get-together to give participants a way?to discard their “vintage”
clothes, find new additions for their wardrobes, plus have a chance to socialize?and meet new friends.
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??
?Ladies all over the world often have clothes by the tonne, acquired during many a shopping spree, some
of which then lay dormant in our closets, unworn, untouched and taking up much-needed space.
The activity was a chance for everyone to give away unwanted items and acquire new, snazzy and unique
additions to their closets!

?Participants had to bring a minimum of 3 garments, shoes or accessories each, for swap or donation,
the only requirement being that the items were clean and in good condition, or new and unworn.

?
Guests were then given a voucher for the number of items they donated to the event, which they could then
use to swap for the equivalent amount of items of their choice.

If they wished to obtain more, then they could make a monetary donation of 30rmb, which went to the charity,
Stepping Stones’ “Children of Migrant Workers’ Education Programme”. ?(http://steppingstoneschina.net)

During the event, DDA’s Rose Oliver, made a donation to Ms. Corinne Richeux Hua, Director of the Stepping Stones
Charity. Many thnks to her for attending and for donating clothes of her own!

Due to the amount of interest, and fun had by everyone, we aim to organize a Winter clothes swap in late September
