Double Dragon Alliance recently held their first evening dedicated to the ancient art of incense
appreciation, sampling the delicate fragrances of Agalloch wood (Chen Xiang) incense.?

?At the Gu Xin Tea House, owned and run by Mr. Jason Huang, Mr. Steven Tsao
shared the background and history of incense culture, explaining the differences between the
various scents, how to identify between different grades and types and the methods employed
by connoisseurs to heighten the pleasure of their enjoyment.

?Steven, a key member of the Shanghai Agalloch Wood Incense Association and also Chief Technical
Officer for DDA, introduced the group to some of the finest Agalloch Wood incenses, some of which
sell for over 30,000Rmb per gram and are highly-prized by aficionados throughout China and Japan.

?Accompanied by a fascinating introduction to Pu Er tea by Jason Huang, who prepared some of their
teahouse’s delicious teas, including high-grade Pu Er tea used to make Black Tea, as well as “raw” and
“aged” Pu Er teas, to accentuate and complement the aromatic incense fragrances, the evening was
an extremely cultured and exotic one!
