PAWS Chicago Animal Shelter’s annual 5K walk/run charity fundraising event took place on Sat 10 September and our team, Albany’s Fan Club successfully completed the 5K run!
Team co-captain (and Rose’s husband) represented our team, as Rose was in the UK looking after her mother in hospital.
Collin really sprinted the course early that Sat morning, enjoying beautiful sunny conditions, in contrast to later in the day when it apparently rained cats and dogs! (Sorry about the pun!)
Thank you to everyone who supported and donated to our team, we really appreciated the support! Our team raised $320 which PAWS Chicago will put to good use caring for and rehabilitating sick, injured, abandoned, abused and homeless pups and kitties in Chicago and surrounding areas.
Looking forward to next year’s event, when hopefully we’ll also have a four-legged family member or foster pup to complete the course alongside us!
