The 32nd annual Kuoshu Tournament recently took place on 23-25 July in Hunt Valley, Maryland, USA.

DDA disciple and Magic Tortoise Taiji School senior student Gabe StClair successfully competed in several categories!

DDA's Gabe StClair Wins Bronze Medal for Yang Style Taiji Form Performance!

Congratulations to Gabe StClair!

Gabe competed in Taiji and weapons forms, performing our DDA Yang Style Taiji and San He Dao (3 Harmonies) broadsword forms, winning medals for form, as well as push hands categories, where she placed third. Congratulations to Gabe and all the other competitors, another great event by the organizers.

Looking to 2022

Postponed due to Covid in 2020, this year saw a return to the wonderful Wushu tournament, where schools from round the US and overseas compete in Taiji, push hands, sparring, weapons forms and other disciplines, and enjoy the wonderful camaraderie that comes from these types of events. I’m sure the 2022 tournament is already eagerly awaited!
