Rose was honoured to attend the 70-year anniversary celebration for the People’s Republic of China, held in Shanghai on 29th September.
The occasion was a chance for Magnolia Award recipients and other award winners across all categories (citizen awards are divided into those presented to the Arts, public service, community and the forces) plus local and international guests, to meet, share camaraderie and celebrate the special occasion.
Rose was also fortunate to be presented to Mr. Yin Hong, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, who also happened to be a Shanghai University alumnus!
