Rose Oliver Interviewed by Beijing Review in Shanghai

Beijing Review Interview

Before the recent CICG conference on ‘China’s Path to Modernization’, Rose was interviewed at length by the ‘Beijing Review’, an e-publication based in Beijing.

Interview Topics

Rose managed to get a small plug about the work PAWS Chicago does for homeless pups and kitties in her ‘Beijing Review’ media interview, as well as the work DDA does promoting taiji, health, and culture.

PAWS Chicago

They didn’t show everything said in the interview, including about Rose’s life overseas during the pandemic, Chi-Town, the UK, the dedication of “foreign” Taiji players around the world, or how proud she is of the strides young Chinese female students have made over the years in gaining confidence and leadership skills, but Rose is proudly displaying her “I love PAWS” pet t-shirt!

And of course, DDA’s Wang Ming Bo serenading the ‘Beijing Review’ producer as we “enjoyed” acupuncture at his home, as part of an insight into Rose’s “normal” life in Shanghai!

Through Their Eyes

Though Rose is not sure the headline quoted in the news report is exactly representative of what she said, she thoroughly enjoys her life and work in Shanghai, and especially all her friends there like Master Wang Ming Bo and their students and disciples in Cao Yang Park!
