It was wonderful to be invited to take part in the 2019 Translation & Interpretation, Global Communication Symposium in Beijing, and honoured to be included as one of the keynote speakers, discussing ‘The Art of Translation & Communicating Across Cultures’.
I also personally learned a lot from some other fascinating speakers sharing their wisdom today, including Shanghai East China University’s Professor Li Zhao Guo 李照国 and Professor Gao Ming Le 高明乐, and Professor Zhao 赵彦春!
I hope to take part in other such conferences across China; disseminating the cultural information and heritage of China’s philosophy and culture globally has been my joy, work and pleasure for o quarter of a century.
My hope is I improve my own knowledge and understanding, so I can continue to do so and allow others to enjoy the treasures of traditional Chinese Culture!
Thanks especially to Shanghai University’s Professor Zhao and Professor Feng for their invitation to include me in the event; it was both a meaningful and informative experience and hope to play a bigger role in such events in the future!
