The tour to the Shanghai American School was exciting, amazing and happy.
I had thought the campus would be like those in China, until I was standing in that beautiful place myself. I couldn’t help feeling that I was in America, it was just like places I have seen in America films.
The reason why we went there was to meet our foreign friends, to read one of the books in our Reading Club Project and discuss things together.
When I was in the biggest library of foreign books in Shanghai, I was eager to read all of them and enjoy a different culture.
But the chat I had with the foreign students made me worry about my vocabulary. I should try to learn more English for myself.
On the whole, it was a nice beginning. If it is possible for me to take part again next time, I would love to be included.
