Shanghai University held its opening ceremony for their 10th annual chrysanthemum flower
festival on 6th November at their Bao Shan campus.

The university campus is currently bedecked in chrysanthemums, cleverly arranged in a variety
of artistic designs and scenes, including the Great Wall, a large elephant (representing good luck,
fortune and prosperity in Chinese folklore), a teapot pouring flowers and a globe embraced by
flower hands.?

The festival will last for the remainder of the week; to visit and enjoy the beautiful and fragrant
displays, take metro line 7 to Shanghai University Station.
